Gaithersburg Man Arrested for Multiple 7-Eleven Armed Robberies – MocoFeed

Gaithersburg, MD – 59-year-old Earl David Long, of Gaithersburg, has been arrested and charged with multiple counts of armed robbery for allegedly robbing five 7-Eleven stores in Montgomery County.

Between Wednesday, June 5 and Friday, June 21, 2024, detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes division began investigating robberies at the following 7-Eleven stores:

  • 8900 block of N. Westland Dr.
  • 10200 New Hampshire Ave.
  • 900 block of Merrimac Dr.
  • 8100 block of Fenton St.
  • 400 block of N. Frederick Ave.

Through the course of the investigation, detectives developed Long as the suspect.

Long was taken into custody without incident on Friday, June 21, 2024, following the robbery of the 7-Eleven on N. Frederick Ave.

He was transported to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit where he is currently being held without bond.
