City of Rockville and Morguard Bring Wireless Connectivity to Popular Downtown Area

Visitors to The Square in Rockville now have access to free public Wi-Fi, the result of a partnership between the City of Rockville and Morguard, the property management company that operates the mixed-use development.

The network is open to anyone with a Wi-Fi-enabled device. The service allows users to browse the internet, check email, stream content, and share on social media while spending time in Rockville Town Center.
How to connect:
- Open up your Wi-Fi settings on your device.
- Select the network, “The Square Rockville — Public Wi-Fi.”
- A browser page will open up that states, “Connect to WiFi with Verizon.”
- Check the box to accept terms and conditions.
- Click “Connect.”
The Square is encompassed by Hungerford Drive, East Middle Lane, North Washington Street and Beall Avenue in Rockville, and features restaurants, retailers and public gathering spaces.
