Detours Due to the Suds and Soles 5k in Rockville Will Impact Ride On Routes 45, 46, and 55 on Saturday June 13 – Mocofeed

Due to the Suds and Soles 5k in the City of Rockville and Rockville Town Center areas, Montgomery County Department of Transportation’s (MCDOT) Ride On Bus Routes 45, 46, and 55 will experience detours on Saturday, June 13, from 1:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. Details of the detours can be found below.

Bus Route 45to Rockville: Middle Lane to North Washington Street will be bypassed. Stay on Hungerford Drive, then left on Park Road, back on route. In both directions.

Bus stops at North Washington Street & Martins Lane (26940), North Washington Street & Dawson Avenue (26942), Beall Avenue & Maryland Avenue (17185), and East Middle Lane & Monroe Street (24088) will be bypassed. 

Bus Route 45to Falls Grove: Bus stops East Middle Lane & Monroe Street (24090), East Middle Lane & Gibbs Street (24092),  North Washington Street & East Middle Lane (26932),  North Washington Street & Beall Avenue (26934),  North Washington Street & Dawson Avenue (26936), and North Washington Street & Martins Lane (26938) will be bypassed.

Bus Route 46to Bethesda: Monroe Place to Jefferson Street to North Washington Street area will be bypassed. Stay on Hungerford Drive, then left onto Rockville Station, back on route. In both directions.

Bus stops at North Washington Street & Martins Lane (26940),  North Washington Street & Dawson Avenue (26942), North Washington Street & Beall Avenue (26944), North Washington Street & West Middle Lane (26946), South Washington Street & West Montgomery Avenue (26948),  East Jefferson Street & Maryland Avenue (23406), and Monroe Street & Monroe Place (24148) will be bypassed. 

Bus Route 46to Montgomery College: Bus stops at Monroe Street & Monroe Place (24150),  East Jefferson Street & Maryland Avenue (23400), South Washington Street & Court House Square (26930), North Washington Street & Middle Lane (26932), North Washington Street & Beall Avenue (26934), North Washington Street & Dawson Avenue (26936), and North Washington Street & Martins Lane (26938) will be bypassed.

Bus Route 55to Rockville: Middle Lane to North Washington Street area will be bypassed. Stay on Hungerford Drive to Rockville Station. In both directions.

Bus Route 55to Germantown: Bus stops at East Middle Lane & Monroe Street (24090), East Middle Lane & Gibbs Street (24092), North Washington Street & East Middle Lane (26932),  North Washington Street & Beall Avenue (26934),  North Washington Street & Dawson Avenue (26936), and  North Washington Street & Martins Lane (26938) will be bypassed. 

The County has implemented a zero-fare policy for all Ride On, Ride On extRa, Ride On Flex, and Flash buses.
