Detectives Seek Public’s Help in Identifying Suspect in Ongoing Homicide Investigation

Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes Division are actively investigating the homicide of a 37-year-old man that occurred on the 18500 block of Boysenberry Drive. Investigators are urging anyone with information to come forward.
On Sunday, September 22, 2024, at approximately 11:24 a.m., the Montgomery County Emergency Communications Center received a call reporting a shooting in the area. Officers from the 6th District responded to the scene and located the victim, identified as Antoine Lavale Parker, inside his apartment, suffering from gunshot wounds.
Shortly before 5 a.m., 6th District officers responded to the same apartment complex following a report of gunshots in the area, but no crime scene was located at that time.
Parker was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, where an autopsy was performed on Monday, September 23, 2024. The cause of death was ruled a homicide.
