Detectives Investigate University Boulevard West Double Shooting

Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 4th District Investigative Section are investigating a double shooting that occurred on Friday, January 17, 2025, in Silver Spring. Detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.

At approximately 3:30 p.m., 4th District officers responded to the Warwick Apartments in the 1130 block of University Blvd West, for the report of a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers located two adult male victims suffering from gunshot wounds.

Both victims were transported to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. At this time, there is no suspect in custody.
