Detectives Investigate Rockville Pike 7-Eleven-Armed Robbery; Surveillance Video of Suspects Released – MocoFeed

Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes Division are investigating an armed robbery that occurred on Monday, May 13, 2024, at the 7-Eleven store in the 1700 block of Rockville Pike in Rockville. Detectives have released video and photos of the suspects and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying them.

At approximately 1:26 p.m., Rockville City Police officers responded to the location for the report of an armed robbery.

The investigation has revealed that two male suspects entered the store and demanded money from an employee who was working behind the counter. Suspect one implied he had a handgun on his waistband. When the employee opened the cash registers, suspect one removed an undisclosed amount of money from the cash registers while suspect two stole merchandise from the store. Both suspects then left the scene.

Detectives reviewed the surveillance footage of the store and obtained a description of the suspects.

Suspect one is described as a Black male, approximately 25-years old, with an average build, approximately 5-feet, 8-inches tall, wearing dark clothing and white/red sneakers.

Suspect two is described as a Black male, approximately 35-years old, with a heavy-set build, approximately 5-feet, 8-inches tall, wearing black clothing, a black Nike hat and a white COVID-style mask.
