Detectives Investigate Home Invasion Robbery in Silver Spring; Public’s Assistance Needed

Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes Division, Robbery Section, are investigating a robbery that occurred in the 800 block of Orchard Way of Silver Spring. Detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects involved in this crime.

The investigation has revealed that in the early morning hours of Wednesday, November 12, 2025, the victim was leaving his residence when he was struck in the head by two unknown Black male suspects who were standing on the victim’s porch. The suspects continued to hit the victim in the head until dragging him into his home, where they demanded money.

The victim, fearing for his life, complied with the suspect’s demands. The suspects then left the residence with the stolen money.

The victim was transported to an area hospital in serious condition.
