The investigation has revealed that at approximately 9:05 p.m. the suspect entered the 7-Eleven and attempted to purchase two cigars. The clerk refused the transaction because the suspect did not provide proper identification. The suspect then loitered inside the store and waited for other customers to leave before walking behind the counter to approach the clerk. He reached into his waistband, implying he had a weapon and attempted to steal merchandise. The clerk reported seeing the handle of a handgun in the suspect’s waistband.

After unsuccessfully attempting to steal merchandise, the suspect left the store.

The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 17 to 25–years–old, 5-feet, 6-inches to 5-feet, 9-inches tall, weighing 140 to 160 pounds, with a slim build, medium complexion, and a mustache/goatee. He was wearing a black beanie-style cap, black hoodie, black t-shirt, black jeans, and black sneakers.
