Detectives Investigate Denver Road Double Homicide – MocoFeed

Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes Division are investigating a double homicide that occurred on Sunday, May 26, 2024.

At approximately 6:57 p.m., Montgomery County Police – 3rd District and Maryland-National Capital Park Police officers responded to the Nolte Local Park in the 200 block of Denver Rd. in Silver Spring.

Upon arrival, officers located two 20-year-old victims, Quincy Johnson, of Takoma Park, and D’Andre Wint, of Lanham, who were suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Despite lifesaving efforts, Johnson and Wint were pronounced dead at the scene.

At this time, there are no suspect(s) in custody.

This is an active and ongoing investigation.

A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information that leads to the arrest of the suspects. Tips may remain anonymous.
