Detectives Investigate Clarksburg Nike Store Theft

Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes Division are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying three suspects who allegedly stole from the Nike store in the 22700 block of Clarksburg Road. Detectives have released surveillance photos of the suspects.

On Monday, August 26, 2024, at approximately 9:30 p.m., 5th District officers responded to the location for the report of a theft that occurred earlier.

Through the course of the investigation, detectives determined that three unknown Black males entered the store, stole an undetermined amount of merchandise and left the store.

Detectives have obtained surveillance photos of the suspects.

Suspect one is described as approximately 6-feet tall, with a slim build, wearing a black shirt, blue pants with a white stripe down the side and light-colored shoes.

Suspect two is described as approximately 5-feet, 5-inches tall, with a slim build, wearing a white t-shirt, a camouflage sweatshirt and dark jeans.

Suspect three is described as approximately 5-feet, 8-inches tall, with a slim build, wearing a black baseball hat, black surgical mask, black t-shirt and black pants.
