Construction on Montgomery Village Avenue in Gaithersburg to Impact Ride On Routes 56, 58, 59, 64, & 65 Starting Wednesday, March 19

For Immediate Release: Wednesday, March 19, 2025

Beginning on Wednesday, March 19, concrete work will take place along Montgomery Village Avenue between Mid-County Highway and Wightman Road in Gaithersburg, impacting bus stops that serve Ride On routes 56 , 58 , 59 , 64 and 65 .

During the construction period, there may be instances where bus operators need to stop at an alternative location, or riders attempting to board may need to walk to a nearby bus stop or wait at a different spot. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your cooperation as we complete these necessary improvements.

Access to bus stops will be provided but may be shifted from regular locations. Pay attention to signage and flaggers. The following stops may be impacted:
