Police officers in uniform hand out snacks to people standing at an outdoor table in front of a 7-Eleven store.

Rockville City Police Department officers connected with residents at 7-Eleven in October for National Coffee with a Cop Day. Students stopped by on their way to school to chat with officers and grab a treat.

The gathering offered a casual setting for residents to get to know local officers, ask questions, share concerns and enjoy coffee, snacks and other refreshments.
