Adult Male Arrested in Connection with Fatal Stabbing on Lockwood Drive

Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes Division have arrested 42-year-old Guy Tyrell Johnson of Washington, D.C. with the stabbing death of 31-year-old Emmanuel Bisudu Sesay that occurred in the 11400 block of Lockwood Drive in White Oak.
The investigation has revealed that on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at approximately 10:28 p.m., Johnson engaged in a physical altercation with Sesay in a parking lot near the location
3rd District officers and personnel from Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services responded to the location and located Sesay with life-threatening injuries. Life-saving measures were attempted, and Sesay, who has no known address, was transported to an area hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

On Wednesday, May 28, detectives obtained an arrest warrant against Johnson, charging him with second-degree murder.
On Thursday, May 29, Johnson was taken into custody in Washington, D.C. by Montgomery County Task Force Officers assigned to the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force.
Johnson was transported to a detention center in Washington, D.C., where he is awaiting extradition to Montgomery County, MD.
