On June 9, 2026, the Montgomery County Council Health and Human Services (HHS) Committee and Public Safety (PS) Committee present a proclamation recognizing National Gun Violence Awareness Day.
The members of the HHS Committee include Chair Laurie-Anne Sayles and Councilmembers Andrew Friedson and Dawn Luedtke. The members of the PS Committee include Chair Sidney Katz and Councilmembers Luedtke and Kristin Mink.
