Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich’s Weekly Media Briefing at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 25 Will Focus on Protecting Local Community Groups & Upcoming Economic Development Mission

Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich will hold his weekly virtual media briefing at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 25.
This week the County Executive will discuss efforts, in conjunction with the Montgomery County Council, to expedite $311,700 that will provide immediate assistance to local organizations serving the Jewish, Muslim, Sikh, and Zoroastrian communities impacted by conflict in the Middle East. The County Executive will also discuss his forthcoming economic development mission which will take him to India and Vietnam. He’ll also focus on the importance of Energy Action Month and welcome Montgomery County Climate Change Officer Sarah Kogel-Smucker.
The weekly media briefing offers reporters an opportunity to discuss timely and important issues with the County Executive, key members of the County Government and community leaders invited to the Zoom call. Members of the media who wish to participate in the virtual media briefing should RSVP to Tracy O’Connor at by 12:30 p.m. on the day of the briefing. Login information will be provided after receipt of the RSVP. Login information for the media briefing remains the same from week to week. There is no need to RSVP each week unless you are new to the call.
