Reporters interested in asking Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich questions will have the opportunity to do so during this week’s virtual media briefing, scheduled for 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 4.
This week, the County Executive will discuss the work already underway for the upcoming gubernatorial primary election and the latest on the State’s ballot replacements. He’ll also highlight $8 million in State grant money coming to Montgomery County for energy modernization projects. His guests this week will be:
- David Naimon, president, County Board of Elections
- Lawrence Halloran, substitute member, County Board of Elections
The weekly media briefings offer reporters an opportunity to discuss timely and vital issues with the County Executive, key members of the County Government, and community leaders invited to the Zoom call. Media members who wish to participate in the virtual media briefing should RSVP to Tracy O’Connor at tracy.o’connor@montgomerycountymd.gov on the day of the briefing. Login information will be provided after receipt of the RSVP. Login information for the media briefing remains the same from week to week. There is no need to RSVP each week unless you are new to the call.
You can view the media briefing live on the County’s Facebook page and YouTube page. Provided there are no conflicts, you can also watch the briefing on County Cable Montgomery.
