This is the MCPD daily crime summary for June 2 and June 3, 2026. Notably, there were multiple incidents of theft and robbery reported, including armed robberies and auto thefts in various locations.
Incidents
- Armed Robbery (Knife) – 1200 block Derwood Cir. (7-Eleven) – A suspect was confronted by employees while concealing items in his coat. The suspect pulled a knife and grabbed an employee’s phone before running off. The phone was later recovered nearby.
- Commercial Burglary – 6500 block Rock Spring Dr. – Employees confronted a group of juveniles inside the building and escorted them out. An office on an upper floor was found ransacked.

- Recovered Stolen Vehicle (Arrests) – Colesville Rd / University Blvd – Park Police pursued a stolen vehicle until it crashed into a median. Four juveniles attempting to run away were arrested.

- Theft – 12900 block Middlebrook Rd. (McDonald’s) – A perpetrator struck the victim and hit in the leg. The suspect took cash and ran off.
