The County Council will hold public hearings to receive testimony on new items introduced to the Council as follows:
April 7, 2026 at 1:30 p.m.
Deadline to sign up to speak is April 6 at 2 p.m.
- The Council will receive testimony for the following new FY27-32 Capital Improvements Program (CIP) projects transmitted to the County Council for consideration: Next Generation Technology Refresh (P342702), Bus Rapid Transit: MD 355 North (P502713), Bus Rapid Transit: New Hampshire Avenue (P502714)
- Resolution to approve Supplemental Appropriation #26-14 to the FY26 Operating Budget, Montgomery County Government, Department of Health and Human Services, Emergency Family Shelter Services, $3,064,158 (Source of Funds: General Fund Undesignated Reserves)
- Resolution to approve Supplemental Appropriation #26-63 to the FY26 Operating Budget, Montgomery County Public Schools, Individuals with Disabilities Education Act Part B Grant, $553,497 (Source of Funds: Federal Grant)

- Resolution to approve an Amendment to the FY25-30 Capital Improvements Program and Supplemental Appropriation #26-61 to the FY26 Capital Budget, Montgomery County Government, Department of General Services, Small Business State Revitalization Program, Takoma Park Car Wash (No. 362608), $200,000 (Source of Funds: State Aid)
- Resolution to approve an Amendment to the FY25-30 Capital Improvements Program and Supplemental Appropriation #26-62 to the FY26 Capital Budget, Montgomery County Government, Department of General Services, Poolesville Highway Depot (No. 502611), $500,000 (Source of Funds: GO Bonds)
- Resolution to approve FY27 Transportation Fees, Changes and Fares
- Resolution to approve FY27 9-1-1 Fee Rate
- Resolution to approve FY27 Solid Waste Service Charges
- Resolution to approve FY27 Water Quality Protection Charge
- Resolution to approve FY27 Property Tax Credit for Income Tax Offset

To testify in-person or remotely during a live public hearing at the Council Office Building, residents need to preregister on the Council’s web page. Residents may also choose to provide pre-recorded testimony in written, audio or video formats or submit testimony by mail.Â
