Tradition in Motion: Lunar New Year at Matsunaga

Spark M. Matsunaga Elementary School held its annual celebration of Lunar New Year with a vibrant showcase of music, dance performances and martial arts, welcoming new beginnings, cultural pride and rich traditions. The celebration has been a cherished tradition at the school since it opened in 2001. Among the presentations: students performed a dragon dance, a traditional highlight of Lunar New Year celebrations, symbolizing power, luck and dignity; karate and martial arts demonstrations and a fashion show.
