2025 Holiday Alcohol Task Force Enforcement – Week 7

Members of the Montgomery County Police Alcohol Holiday Task Force will be devoting their full time and attention to detecting alcohol-related offenses this holiday season.
During the week of December 31, 2025 – January 3, 2026, officers made 307 traffic stops and issued 366 traffic citations, 408 warnings and 29 repair orders. They also issued two alcohol restriction violations and a civil alcohol citation.

In addition, officers performed six breath tests, made three criminal arrests and arrested 28 individuals for driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs (DUI).
**It should be noted that the above arrests include only those arrests made by task force officers and do not include the additional arrests made by patrol officers in the performance of their duties. Therefore, the overall number of DUI arrests made by officers during this time period is higher.
