Ride On Bus Service Detour Near Montgomery County Agriculture Fair in Gaithersburg

For Immediate Release: Tuesday, August 15, 2023

Due to the Montgomery County Agricultural Fair, Ride On Route 54 (Rockville-Lakeforest) will experience a detour through Saturday, Aug. 19. The detour will last from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday. Details of the detour can be found below.

To Rockville Station.

From Lakeforest Boulevard, take a right on MD-355, immediately left on Montgomery Village Avenue, continue on Quince Orchard Road, left on Clopper Road, continue on West Diamond Avenue, and back on route. Stops 24842, 24844, 28812, 24846 and 24848 will be bypassed. Use alternate stops 23530 and 21806.

To Lakeforest Blvd.

Bypass Perry Parkway, continue on West Diamond Avenue, Clopper Road, then right on Quince Orchard Boulevard-Montgomery Village Avenue, right on Frederick Road (MD-355), then left on Lakeforest Boulevard, and back on route. Stops 24840, 24838, 24836, 24834 and 24832 will be bypassed. Use alternate stops 23528 and 21824.
