Reporters interested in asking Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich questions will be able to do so during this week’s virtual media briefing at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 9.

The County Executive will discuss the deadly flooding in Texas and how the County has worked to alert residents ahead of similar dangerous weather events. He will also talk about the consumer tenant protections he signed into law in April and enacted last week. His guest this week will be:
- Matt Miziorko, Emergency Management Specialist, Office of Emergency Management and Homeland Security
The weekly media briefings offer reporters an opportunity to discuss timely and vital issues with the County Executive, key members of the County Government and community leaders invited to the Zoom call. Media members who wish to participate in the virtual media briefing should RSVP to Tracy O’Connor at tracy.o’ [email protected] on the day of the briefing. Login information will be provided after receipt of the RSVP. Login information for the media briefing remains the same from week to week. There is no need to RSVP each week unless you are new to the call.
