The radio program will begin highlighting the Taste of Wheaton , an annual event that has become a tradition in the community. This vibrant celebration showcases Wheaton’s rich cultural diversity through global cuisine and entertainment for all ages. The 2025 Taste of Wheaton will be held on Sunday, June 1, rain or shine, at Marian Fryer Plaza. Attendees can look forward to delicious food from a variety of ethnic restaurants, live performances and dance by local artists, vendors featuring local businesses and artisans, as well as fun activities for kids, including crafts and face painting.

The second segment of the show will highlight resources that support mental health and well-being. As May comes to a close, in recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, the program will feature the services and initiatives offered by EveryMind in Montgomery County. These programs aim to strengthen communities and empower individuals to reach optimal mental wellness.

The radio program will wrap up with an invitation to the MCPS community to participate in a series of virtual and in-person engagement sessions. These sessions will focus on boundary study options and important school developments, including the reopening of Charles W. Woodward High School, the opening of Crown High School, and the expansion of Damascus High School. Each session will present initial options for these studies and explain how potential changes may impact families with middle and high school students. The meetings are designed to encourage broad community participation and input.
