“This event brings together some of the best things about Montgomery County — our students, our educators, our families and a real commitment to giving young people the tools to solve problems and think creatively,” said Montgomery County Marc Elrich. “KID Museum has created a space where kids can learn by doing, and where curiosity turns into skills they’ll carry with them. I’m glad we’re supporting an event that opens the door for more students to imagine themselves as inventors and changemakers.”
The annual event will include a variety of interactive activities for all ages, including:
- Drones and robotics races.
- Demonstrations of cutting-edge technology, including virtual and mixed reality.
- 3D printing, screen printing, activities and invention challenges.
- A showcase of more than 100 student inventions developed through the Invent the Future Challenge.
- Interactive exhibits from innovative local businesses and organizations.
