Police Seek Public’s Help Identifying Victim and Person of Interest in Death Investigation
For Immediate Release: Sunday, April 27, 2025
Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes Division are asking for the public’s help in identifying an adult female victim and an adult male person of interest connected to a death investigation that occurred on Sunday, April 27, 2025.
At approximately 7:15 a.m., 3rd District officers responded to White Oak Medical Center after an adult male person of interest drove the victim to the emergency room, briefly spoke with staff, and then left the scene.
The victim, who had an apparent gunshot wound, was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. She is described as a Hispanic female, believed to be in her early to mid-20s, with tattoos on her right thigh, right forearm, left forearm, back, and above her right elbow.
The person of interest, described as a Hispanic male, left the scene in a newer model white Ford Mustang. Detectives have released surveillance photos of him.
The decedent will be transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore, where an autopsy will be conducted to determine the official cause and manner of death.
