Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich will be joined by County Councilmember Kristin Mink, the bill’s cosponsor, cosponsors Council Vice President Will Jawando and Councilmember Dawn Luedtke and tenant advocates for a bill signing ceremony of Bill 6-25, Consumer Protection for Renters. On April 1, the County Council unanimously passed the legislation, which will improve the County’s ability to bring landlords who repeatedly violate tenant protections in the County into compliance.
