Thirty-Five-Year-Old Man Arrested Following Georgia Avenue Theft From Auto

Gaithersburg, MD – Officers from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 4th District Station have arrested 35-year-old Bengaly Camara following a theft from auto on Georgia Avenue.
On Thursday, March 27, 2025, at approximately 11 p.m., officers from the 4th District – Special Assignment Team (SAT) responded to the 10800 block of Georgia Avenue for the report of a theft from auto that just occurred.
Through investigation, officers were quickly able to identify Camara as the suspect.
Officers from the 3rd District – SAT assisted and Camara was located in the area of Ramsey Avenue and Wayne Avenue.
He was arrested and taken into custody without incident. Upon his arrest, multiple items of evidentiary value were recovered.
Camara was transported to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit, where he has been charged with theft from auto and weapons related charges.
