Drone Assists Officers with Robbery Arrest

On Friday, January 10, 2025, 6th District officers responded to the 800 block of West Side Drive for the report of an armed robbery. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the juvenile victim, who stated that the suspect approached him with a knife, assaulted him, and stole his shoes.
Raven 3, which was in the area, located the suspect and provided officers with real-time information on the suspect’s movements. This assistance led to the suspect’s arrest and the recovery of all stolen property.

The juvenile suspect has been charged with armed robbery, robbery, first-degree assault, second-degree assault, and reckless endangerment. The suspect was released to their guardian.
