Montgomery County Government Will Be Closed Monday, Jan. 6
For Immediate Release: Sunday, January 5, 2025
Montgomery County Government will be closed on Monday, Jan. 6. Government facilities, including libraries, recreation and senior centers will be closed.

Ride On buses will operate on a holiday service schedule. Riders should check the Ride On website for updates.
All County-provided trash and recycling collections are canceled for Monday and collections will follow a slide schedule, with the last collection on Saturday, Jan. 11.

- Residents are urged to sign up for Alert Montgomery for text and email updates concerning weather conditions and closings.
- Visit the Winter Storm Portal for storm updates.
The County’s information call center, MC311, will open at 7 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 6. Contact MC311 by calling 3-1-1 or 240-777-0311 or through their website at www.MC311.com .
