Free Ride On Bus Fares Through Code Red Air Quality Alerts and Service Changes

In light of the Code Red Air Quality Alert , the Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) has waived Ride On bus fare throughout the duration of the Code Red Alert in an effort to minimize travelers walking outdoors.
Additionally, there will be some changes to bus services due to a shortage of available operators. Ride On Flex and Ride on extRa bus services will be suspended today after 3:30 p.m. and tomorrow, Friday, June 9.
We apologize for the inconvenience. MCDOT Ride On is working to minimize the number of missed trips during this period.
