In the early ’80s, Mr. Rosado moved to Long Island, quickly becoming a key player in the nascent local hip-hop scene. His work with Public Enemy , Son of Bazerk and the Bomb Squad production team are legendary, cementing his place in hip-hop history. Over nearly four decades, he has collaborated with iconic artists such as Mandrill , Mavis Staples , Beastie Boys , Slick Rick , Leaders of the New School , KRS-One , DMC , C+C Music Factory , X-Vandals , Billy Joel and Trilogy , showcasing the breadth and depth of his influence. Mr. Rosado’s work on ESPN’s “Ali Rap” earned him an Emmy nomination for outstanding music composition.

Currently, his focus has shifted toward film and television scoring. He recently received three NAACP Image Award nominations, including for best album for the soundtrack of “On the Shoulders of Giants,” proving his enduring relevance in a constantly evolving industry.

As the global vice president of The Bronx Boys Rocking Crew , the first Latino breaking (dance) crew, and pioneers of floor rocking since 1975, Mr. Rosado continues to inspire and shape the next generation of hip-hop enthusiasts. His contributions were recently recognized with his induction into the Long Island Music Hall of Fame as a member of Public Enemy in 2008, and again in 2013 with induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
