Detectives Investigate Rockville 7-Eleven Armed Robbery

Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes Division are investigating an Armed robbery of the 7-Eleven Store that occurred on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, in the 9900 block of Key West Ave. Detectives have released surveillance photos of the suspect and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying them.
The investigation has revealed that at approximately 4:03 a.m., an unknown male suspect entered the store, jumped on the counter, displayed a black handgun and demanded the clerk to open the registers. The suspect stole an undetermined amount of money, a large amount of vape products, cigars and other store property. After obtaining the property the suspect exited the business and left in an unknown direction.
Detectives reviewed the surveillance footage of the store and obtained a description of the suspect.
The suspect is described as a male, between late teens and early twenties, approximately 5-feet,6-inches to 5-feet 8-inches tall, with a skinny build, wearing a blue sweat shirt, clean blue jeans, black shoes, gray gloves with black palms and a black mask.
