“Historically, communities of color have not had the same opportunities to buy homes, and that has left them out of the benefits of home ownership, including helping to build personal credit and wealth,” said County Executive Marc Elrich. “I encourage those who are thinking of home buying to attend this valuable program.”

The program is free, but registration is required. Register at Eventbrite .

“Assisting and turning renters into homeowners here in Montgomery County is a top priority of the NAACP,” said Linda Plummer, Montgomery County NAACP president. “Please register and participate in this program and future events. Helping more people become potential homeowners is an important program for the County.”
