Reporters interested in asking Montgomery County’s Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) Rich Madaleno questions can do so during this week’s virtual media briefing at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 7.
The CAO and his guests will discuss Domestic Violence Awareness Month and share resources that the public can use to report or help recover from domestic violence incidents. He will also talk about the need for volunteers to help with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program, and why Friday is bike collection day for the County’s Department of Transportation. This week’s guest will be:
- Tom Manion, director, Family Justice Center
- Debbie Feinstein, chief of the special victims division, Montgomery County State’s Attorney’s Office
The weekly media briefings offer reporters an opportunity to discuss timely and vital issues with the County Executive, key members of the County Government and community leaders invited to the Zoom call. Media members who wish to participate in the virtual media briefing should RSVP to Tracy O’Connor at tracy.o’connor@montgomerycountymd.gov. Login information will be provided after receipt of the RSVP. Login information for the media briefing remains the same from week to week. There is no need to RSVP each week unless you are new to the call.
You can view the media briefing live on the County’s Facebook page. Provided there are no conflicts, the media briefing will also be broadcast by County Cable Montgomery.
