Starting on or about Wednesday, Oct. 7, Whites Store Road in Boyds will be temporarily closed for approximately two (2) weeks while Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) crews perform the second phase of pipe replacements in the area. Work will occur from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, excluding weekends and holidays. A detour with proper signage will be displayed. Local traffic will be maintained up to the closure.
During the emergency maintenance, MCDOT will remove and replace failing metal culverts, replacing them with new, twin concrete culverts.
