Oct. 16 Deadline Nears for Rockville Nonprofit Grant Applications
October 1, 2026
Local nonprofit organizations seeking more than $10,000 through Rockville’s Fiscal Year 2028 Community Services and Enrichment Grant Program must apply by 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16.Â
The city’s grants team will offer a final technical assistance session for applicants from 2-3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8.Â
Approximately $1.5 million is expected to be available, with typical awards ranging from $10,000 to $100,000. Nonprofits providing community services and enrichment programs to Rockville residents are encouraged to apply.Â
For the FY28 cycle, Rockville is encouraging applications for programs that advance one or more of the city’s five impact focus areas: household stability, economic mobility, youth and family success, service access and navigation, and community enrichment and belonging.Â
Grant funding typically supports nine service areas: adult education, arts and culture, food and clothing services, health care, housing services, resources for immigrant communities, public safety, senior services, and youth development. Competitive applications will explain how the proposed program contributes to one or more impact focus areas.Â
Applications requesting $10,000 or less will be accepted through the Community Empowerment Mini-Grant Program, beginning in March.Â
