On or about Tuesday, Sept. 15, the Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) will enact an emergency road closure on both Club Hollow Road and Whites Store Road in Poolesville. Local traffic will be maintained up to the closure.
During the emergency maintenance, MCDOT will remove and replace failing metal culverts, replacing them with new, twin concrete culverts. This work will require a temporary road closure that should last approximately two weeks. Work will occur from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, excluding weekends and holidays. A detour with proper signage will be displayed.
Residents with questions or concerns can reach out to the MCDOT Highway Division project manager, Yisa Adegun, at 240-876-5597.
For information about MCDOT programs and services is available on the MCDOT website.
