The following is a brief summary of events regarding a Rockville homicide.On Sunday, September 13, 2026, at approximately 2:02 a.m., Montgomery County Department of Police 1st District and Rockville City Police officers, as well as Montgomery County Fire and Rescue personnel responded to the 1000 block of Seven Locks Road for a report of a shooting.Upon arrival, officers located an adult male victim with serious injuries and immediately began rendering aid. Despite lifesaving efforts, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.At this time no one is in custody and there is no suspect information available.The Major Crimes Division Homicide Unit is investigating this case.More information will be released as it becomes available, including the identity of the victim following proper next of kin notification.
