The Rockville Flood Resiliency Master Plan is moving into its next phase and the city will be sharing what it’s learned.
Through flood modeling and community input, the city has identified key flood risks and is beginning to develop strategies to make Rockville more resilient.
Review findings, learn about potential actions and help shape recommendations that will guide the final plan.
A virtual info session will be held 7-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, and an in-person workshop from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14 at Twinbrook Community Recreation Center, 12920 Twinbrook Parkway.
Visit engagerockville.com/floodplan to register, learn about the project and stay involved as the plan moves forward. Email floodplan@rockvillemd.gov for more information.
