City Seeks Applicants for Board of Supervisors of Elections – Mocofeed

Rockville is seeking applicants to fill two vacancies on its Board of Supervisors of Elections.

The board conducts city elections, registers voters, promotes voter participation and maintains election records. Each of the five members is appointed by the Mayor and Council to a four-year term. Appointees to the vacancies will serve until June 1, 2030. 

The board oversees the nomination process for candidates, verifies eligibility, reviews and certifies nominating petitions, and reviews campaign finance reports. It also publicizes elections, oversees the collection and tabulation of ballots, and certifies election results. 

Applicants can complete an Expression of Interest form at rockvillemd.gov/services/join-a-board-or-commission.
