Montgomery County’s Community Use of Public Facilities (CUPF) and Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) will begin accepting online reservations for indoor school facilities for the 2026-2027 school year on Monday, Aug. 10 at 6:30 a.m. through ActiveMONTGOMERY.org.
Reserved spaces include gymnasiums, auditoriums, classrooms, and other indoor spaces and they can be used for community meetings, cultural events, youth activities, and other events. “Montgomery County schools are central hubs in our neighborhoods,” said Genel Burwell, director of CUPF. “We’re proud of our strong collaboration with MCPS, ensuring that our facilities are available, safe, and welcoming to everyone. Opening day reservation is a moment where the whole community comes together to plan, create, and connect.”
