At approximately 4:39 a.m., Montgomery County Police and Fire Rescue personnel responded to the location for the report of a single vehicle collision.
The preliminary investigation has revealed that the driver of a 2010 Mercedes, struck the center median and then a tree before coming to a rest.
The adult male driver was transported to an area hospital, where he later died.
