Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 3rd District Investigative Section have arrested and charged 20-year-old Adrean Walls of Bowie after he allegedly stalked a woman at the Orchard Center shopping center on Cherry Hill Road, followed her home and attempted to enter her residence. Detectives believe there may be additional victims who encountered Walls while shopping at the Orchard Center and observed him stalking or following them. Anyone who believes they may have been targeted is urged to come forward.
On Friday, July 10, 2026, the victim was shopping in Kohl’s located in the 12000 block of Cherry Hill Road, when Walls began stalking her, while engaged in an act of indecent exposure. He then followed the victim through the parking lot while driving his car, nearly striking two vehicles, before continuing to follow her to her home, where he attempted to enter the residence through a window. Walls ran from the scene after he was confronted by a family member who was inside of the home.
During the course of the investigation, Wells was developed as the suspect.
On Thursday, July 16, 2026, an arrest warrant was obtained for Adrean Walls, charging him with stalking, attempted 4th degree burglary and indecent exposure.
On Tuesday, July 21, 2026, Walls was arrested on the strength of the warrant and transported to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit, where is currently being held without bond.
