Stedwick Elementary Receives $5,000 Donation to Support Classrooms

Stedwick Elementary School received $5,000 to support students and educators from Burlington during their new store opening. 

Through its ongoing partnership with AdoptAClassroom, Burlington Stores helps fund classrooms and provide essential school supplies to educators across the country. AdoptAClassroom’s vendor marketplace allows teachers to choose from thousands of items offered by more than 25 education and school supply vendors, including basic classroom necessities such as pens, paper, and books.

Burlington celebrated its grand opening of its new store 19142 Montgomery Village Ave in Montgomery Village with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on June 26. As part of Burlington’s tradition of supporting local schools when opening new locations, AdoptAClassroom and MCPS Partnerships Unit collaborated to identify a school to receive a donation.
