2025 Summer Traffic Task Force Enforcement – First Two Weeks – MocoFeed

This new initiative mirrors similar operations conducted during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. The Summer Traffic Task Force is a coordinated enforcement effort that runs through the end of July and focuses on periods historically associated with increased impaired driving, including graduation events, prom season, and summer holidays.

Since the effort began on May 21, 2025, officers have conducted 202 traffic stops, resulting in 291 citations issued, 289 warnings given, and 33 DUI arrests.

**It should be noted that the above arrests include only those arrests made by task force officers and do not include the additional arrests made by patrol officers in the performance of their duties. Therefore, the overall number of DUI arrests made by officers during this period is higher.
