2025 Holiday Alcohol Task Force Enforcement – Week 6
For Immediate Release: Wednesday, December 31, 2025
Members of the Montgomery County Police Alcohol Holiday Task Force will be devoting their full time and attention to detecting alcohol-related offenses this holiday season.
During the week of December 24-27, officers made 253 traffic stops and issued 307 traffic citations, 317 warnings and 22 repair orders. They also issued one alcohol restriction violation and a civil alcohol citation.

In addition, officers performed three breath tests, made one criminal arrest and arrested 24 individuals for driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs (DUI).
**It should be noted that the above arrests include only those arrests made by task force officers and do not include the additional arrests made by patrol officers in the performance of their duties. Therefore, the overall number of DUI arrests made by officers during this time period is higher.
